Entirely (minus two downloaded catalog parts)
created in Alibre to build a working 1:22,5 scale model of a 1900's prototype.
128 unique parts, 403 total part count.Scale model length: approx. 35 cm
(13.78"). Used documentation includes drawings scanned from books (free
Brava! Reader is useful), pictures scanned from books and from antique
postcards depicting the streetcar.   Renderings are made in
SimLab Composer.   My “realTM worldTM
rendering technologyTM" uses mainly Vectorealism (Ponoko Italy) lasercut
3mm thick MDF and PU castings of Shapeways 3D printed parts. The roof should be
milled out of balsa wood on a highly experimental CNC balsa mill based on a
design of mine. This thing will be controlled using a Freeduino loaded with
RepRap G-code interpreter, Easydriver stepper motor drivers...  less
