This pill crusher is battery powered (4 AA Batteries) or it may be used with a 6V DC power supply. This unit was designed for persons that have limited hand use, such as arthritis, stroke victims etc. The crusher assembly is removable for easy cleaning in a dishwasher. A working prototype has been developed and endurance tested and pill loss data has been established.
